Registering for the Conference


Presenters must be duly registered and in order of payment for the Conference.

If we do not receive your registration and payment by 31 August 2019, we may need to remove your presentation from the Conference Programme.

If there is a reason you cannot register or pay by 31 August 2019, please contact the Organizing Secretary as soon as possible at secretariat@premus2019.com.

Checking in at the Conference


Presenters must check in and pick up their badges before giving their presentation.

A Check-in/Registration Desk will be located at the welcoming reception at Palazzo Re Enzo Congress Center on Sunday 1st September from 6.00 p.m. In the following days registration opens from 8.00 a.m.

Please make sure you have checked in for the Conference at least 30 minutes before your presentation time.

Keynotes, Special Sessions, Symposia and Oral presentations


Slide format

Organizers invite presenters to use the template slide format available here.

Aspect ratio 16:9.

Conflict of Interest

Please include a Conflict of Interest Slide as the second slide of your presentation.

Presenters are also kindly asked to bring the presentation on a portable drive (ppt, pptx or pdf file).

If you have special audiovisual requirements, please mail to secretariat@premus2019.com for assistance possibly within 3 days before the Conference.

Slide submission

Presenters should hand over their presentation to the Slide Center the day before or at least 3 hours in advance of their presentation.

Oral Presentations

Please note that oral presenters will be allocated 10 minutes for their presentation and 2 minutes for questions and answers with the audience.

You are kindly requested to plan your presentation in order to match to the predicted time. If the presentation exceeds 10 minutes, the Chair will shorten the Q&A period that follows the presentation.

Depending on the number of presentations planned in the Session and the related topics, it is up to the Chair to invite questions from the audience at the end of each presentation or after the last speaker.

Last but not least, presenters are kindly invited to introduce themselves to the Chair before the beginning of the Session.

Symposia

Symposia organizers are responsible for introducing presenters and allocating the proper amount of time for presentations and for questions and answers with the audience.

Poster presentations


Poster display area

Poster display panels will be available throughout the duration of the Conference. Poster presenters are encouraged to display their Posters for the full duration of the Conference, no matter what their assigned Poster session.

Poster sessions

Abstracts accepted as Poster presentations are labeled with a code number which helps you to find it in the Programme as well as to find the location in the Poster display area.

The list of Posters assigned to each session can be found in the Conference Programme.

There will be four Poster sessions during the Conference. Therefore, Poster presenters are kindly requested to be available by their Posters during the assigned session and to give a short description of the Poster. The time for Poster presentation is 5 minutes in total (3 minutes for presentation + 2 minutes for a brief discussion).

Size limitations

Poster size should be 70 x 100 cm (width x height).

Poster panels are 100 x 200 cm (width x height), vertically arranged.

Office metal clips will be provided for your Poster.

Posters will be placed on both sides of each Poster panel.

Please do not exceed these dimensions. Posters that do not fall within the specified size limitations will only be posted based on availability of space.

You may bring A4/legal or letter copies of your Poster with you to share with interested delegates.

Poster printing

Presenting authors should print their Poster before the Conference.

Note: We do not offer onsite printing at the Conference venue.

Hanging your Poster

Posters must be placed on the Poster panels before 8:30 a.m. on the day of their assigned session.

However, we encourage presenters to display Posters for the full length of the Conference.

To determine the location check the number of your Poster, as indicated in the Conference Programme,

and hang your Poster on the corresponding Poster panel.

Taking your Poster down

Please remember to take down your Poster before leaving the Conference.

If you don’t take down your Poster, we will remove and discard it at the end of the Conference.
